A Big Night With Mr. Wonderful
Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:49PM One of the most impressive auction items of Wings Over Wall Street's 2016 Gala was the opportunity to have dinner with Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary. The auction was held online and a computer was on hand at the Wings Gala so bidders at the event could join in. While it started off slow, the bidding took off and Wings benefitted from an unbelievable winning bid of $34,000.
What is even more unbelieveable is that the winning bidder was Alex Edson, the18-year old CEO of Power TV. Alex, who was happy to support Wings and its mission to unlock the cure for ALS, also was hoping to land Kevin as a strategic partner. We don't know the outcome, but they had a great dinner at Ocean Prime recently and both enjoyed the experience. Special thanks to Wings Chair Jon Najarian for making it happen.
