Wings Mourns the Loss of Harlan Homes, Spirit Award Winner

All of us at Wings mark with great sadness the loss of Harlan Homes, 2011 Spirit Award Winner. Harlan, along with his family, demonstrated a remarkably positive and hopeful attitude about living with and curing ALS. This was very evident in the work of Harlan's sons Harper and Henry. They recently organized and launched Party on the Park, an MDA's Wings Over Wall Street fundraising event to fund ALS research, which was held on September 30th. Harper and Henry were able to share the story of their success with their father, as this ignaugural event brought in approximately $36,000 for ALS research.
