My friend Nancy Forbes O'Hearn suggested I write to Lisa u. Here is the comment above a "share post" that I'm not sure will post : Before the Ice Bucket Challenge we did other OUTlandish things to bring ALS OUT of the closet. This year was our 4th Annual Skydiving SPECKTACULAR for ALS Awareness and FUNdraising event. And attract attention we did! We were on Channel 3 News and in The Sacramento Bee, and of course we always get generous coverage in The Davis Enterprise. I jumped out of the plane at our first event and LOVED it! You can watch that on You Tube too ! This video is from 2012. Good Gawd I look sickly! Oh yes, at some point the IBC is gonna start to die down ( pun intended) but we still need to keep ALS OUT of the closet and shadows. We need celebrity spokespersons who can relate to several generations; t-shirts that say "Keep ALS OUT of the closet"- "donate today " or /and watch this film: Better Days - ALS Documentary. It even features two of my original songs recorded before ALS snuck into my body. Donate today. I've got tons of ideas but not enough energy or stamina to follow through physically. Wanna help me ?

My name is Janet Kerrigan and I knew Toni and Warren very well; I was her nurse.. Caring for Toni was an inspirational time for me and watching her dedicated husband Warren day to day was an extraordinary experience. I wish for success and hope that people will see the power of love and dedication that this particular event holds.

Dedicated to my friend Toni and her husband Warren

Welcome to the new MDA's Wings Over Wall Street® web site. Thank you for visiting our Guest Book. We invite you to post your thoughts about Wings, ALS, family members and friends who have been affected by or lost to ALS, or anything else you'd like to share with the community. We'd like to keep this a family-friendly guest book, so we reserve the right to moderate any objectionable content.

I'm writing this post on Valentine's Day, 2011. On this special day, back in 1990, I proposed to my late wife Toni. ALS took her life in 2004, however, her spirit, courage, and grace live on, untouched by the horrible disease we at Wings will help to cure. My love for her endures the passing years, and my passion for funding ALS research through Wings continues to burn brightly. Let's make every Valentine's Day a day of romance, love, joy, and hope by curing ALS, so lovers may remain united as they celebrate life together.

Thank you for your interest and support in fighting ALS. Together, we do make a difference!
